I posted previously about Evony, an online free civilization-type game (with strange ads–see the post for details), but there is another one I use to kill time when needed. It’s called QuakeLive.com.
QuakeLive is actually built on the same code that ran the original first person shooter “Quake”, one of the early first person shooters, released in 1996. I actually played the original! But this is a nice version that runs from your browser (with one small plugin). This is a very fun game, and can provide hours of time wasting! Have fun!

Evony (www.evony.com) is an online game that I have taken to playing lately (sometimes too much of course). It’s your basic civ game–build cities, build armies, attack your neighbours. There are alliances, buying and selling resources, and lots of fun stuff to do! I will be posting some tips and techniques that I have come across over the last few months of playing.
